All middle school and high school youth are invited to participate in our parish Youth Ministry.

Our parish is proud to celebrate Vincent's participation in the Christian Leadership Institute (CLI) this past June (2026) where he joined other young people from across Hawaiʻi in growing in faith, leadership, and service. Here are some photos from his experience:

From June 25 – June 30, 2023, two of our young people participated in the Diocesan Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry’s Christian Leadership Institute (CLI). CLI provides high school youth an opportunity to develop skills for leadership and Christian Ministry. The weeklong experience challenges young people to share insights and knowledge and to foster one another’s learning experiences in group settings to more firmly reinforce participants’ ownership of skills and content for use in their unique settings.

Our parish youth ministry was blessed to participate in this year's Big Island Youth Day, joining young people from across the island for a day of prayer, fellowship, and faith. Centered on the theme, "Rooted in Christ, Growing in Love, United in Faith," our youth encountered Christ through inspiring presentations, worship, and community-building experiences. We are grateful for this opportunity to grow together in faith and look forward to continuing to live out what we learned and experienced. The event was held at St. Joseph Church & School in Hilo, Hawai'i Island on February 21, 2026. |
