The OLS Parish Pastoral Council is a group of committed parishioners who assist Father Edgar in providing leadership in planning and developing policies.  The council assists the parish in planning for spiritual and ministerial development.

Functions of the Parish Pastoral Council are:

• Developing and reviewing parish mission


• Initiating or continuing the process of pastoral planning


• Coordinates efforts to implement and prioritized goals and objectives


• Promotes collaboration, shared responsibility and open communication


• Identifies and encourages the use of gifts and talents of the parish community for the common good


• Evaluates progress and ensures that goals and objectives, and adherence to priorities

The Council meets on the 3rd Wednesdays of the month.  All parishioners are welcome to attend these meetings, to bring up any ideas, questions or concerns regarding the parish.
